• Sleep training can seem overwhelming.

    Sleep training depends on 4 key factors.

    1. Feeds
      1. Is the baby full? Is that baby hungry?
      1. How long ago di the baby eat before sleeping?
    • Temperature of the room
      • Is the room hot or cold.
      • Take note of the temperature to ensure that the baby is comfortable.
    • Sleep patterns
      • When last did the baby sleep
      • How long has the baby been awake for? This is called awake window period.

    Awake window is the required time the baby stays awake between naps/ sleeps.

     It is dependent on age.

    • Stimulation
      • Appropriate stimulation based on the baby’s age
